Lighthouse Trails Publishing is an industry-standard publishing company; we are not a vanity press (i.e., we do not take money from authors to publish their books). We are currently publishing between 2-4 manuscripts a year.

proposals and manuscripts from prospective authors.
It is recommended you study our website and perhaps
read some of our books before you submit a proposal.
We are a small publishing house and have a narrow
niche.
We are a Christian publishing company and publish books
that align with biblical truth, while lifting up the name
of Jesus Christ.
The books we publish must have a message or story that needs
to be heard. We are always interested in stories of Christians
who have risen above incredible and unusual challenges and even their
own failures to illustrate God's amazing grace and strength
to overcome.
We have a special place in our hearts for missionaries and
would welcome well-written submissions about or by such.
SUGGESTED
PROPOSAL CRITERIA |
Please
send a proposal that meets the following criteria:
Overview: A two to three paragraph overview of your book.
Chapter by Chapter Outline (Synopsis): 1-2 paragraphs describing highlights of each chapter.
Author Bio: No more than a half a page. Include any writing successes, experience
in public speaking and why you feel you are qualified to write
about proposed subject matter.
Delivery: What
is the estimated length of your manuscript and when is the expected
time of completion.
Sample Chapters: Please include two sample chapters. (One of them should be chapter
one.)
Manuscript Format: Should be typed in black ink on 8 1/2" X 11" white
bond paper, free of misspellings and typos. Please number each
page at bottom of page. If we accept your manuscript, it must
be available on disk in Word, Pagemaker or a PDF. |

You may also email your proposal as an attachment as long as it is in Word
or a PDF and is in the proper format and content.

Any
work we consider should be written in such a fashion as to not
only challenge the educated, professional reader but also reach
the younger, college-age adult who may have more limited experience
and comprehension. Our books will include throughout their pages
human interest and personal experience scenarios as a means
of getting the point across.
