Excellent writing for those unaware of Spiritual Formation and its negative affects on today’s church.

Am very pleased with this book and the parallels between theses two tragedies and the prophetic message of the Bible. I love Warren Smith’s writing.

Vanilla and almond flavors always have appealed to me so I bought this tea. It is a welcome change from the regular plain green or black tea and I use it whenever I am in the mood. I would recommend it for those who enjoy a subtle and unique flavor.

This tea has a hint of spice that I find delightful. It always perks me up in the morning and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a bright, robust, and relaxing drink.

Bought a number of Lighthouse Trails’ booklet exposing the heresies of The Chosen TV series to give away to some friends. Praying that eyes would be opened to the truth.

I have two brothers in the Lord that I love dearly and have had intimate fellowship with these men through the years. Both of them texted me and both told me that 'I MUST' watch 'The Chosen'. They both had the same enthusiasm! These are brothers that were solidly planted in the Lord but have erred. They drifted! I wrote to both of them before I purchased The Chosen booklet and lovingly had to let them have it both barrels! They have both rejected my reproof! I now have several of the booklets and if you know someone that is watching this blasphemous disgusting production don't hesitate to purchase the booklet! It was very well done and anyone who reads it should be shaken to the core of their being!

Very well documented! Highlights important truths of scriptures!

Warren Smith has a gift for writing--logical and captivating. His personal experience in new age thinking and religion has really helped to give him a focused eye when narrowing in on popular yet spiritually deceptive book like Jesus Calling. This is an excellent read, and one that I am currently planning to revisit after reading his latest book The Titanic and Today's Church: A Tale of Two Shipwrecks. I recommend this author any day.

Also, note that Warren in real life is a down to earth humbled man. Warren is the real deal, and he is being used by God to spread his testimony of coming out of the new age to which, many more now today are joining what he came out of into this new age spiritualism self-focused inner-being religion. I've had the opportunity to give a few of his books and bibles to people that are/were headed down the deceptive path of new age oracles that are really selfishness mixed with demonic magic and yoga.

This is a good supplement to understand why Jesus Calling is more than what you think it is...

This is a great donation option or investment to your local pregnancy support center. Many materials that are often donated to local centers or requested by personnel tend to be on the best sellers/non-discerning side of encouragement "Christian" materials. Couple this with a purchase of bibles and you have solid literature to give to new parents and peoples of faith who may not know about the spiritual deception taking place right under our noses!

Went on a missions trip a few years ago to a small town in India, and had the pleasure of giving away several Lighthouse Trails materials (and Bible Verse Tea) to our Indian brothers and sisters in Christ. Pastor Samuel DGS Jena received the copy of Faith Undone to which he has since told me that he his faith was strengthened and encouraged by Oakland teachings in Faith Undone. In turn, the encouragement that I received in India from these truly on fire joyful Christians renewed my faith upon returning to a lukewarm US of A.

Most people attending church today are not taught doctrine. (teaching or instruction about God & His Word.)
In my area most churches have cancelled Sunday School. They are being taught what to believe (from the pulpit) but not why they should believe it or how to defend what they believe.
When I first accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior I knew nothing about false doctrine. If you used the words Jesus, God, Bible in our conversation I considered you a Christian and a brother or sister.
It wasn't until I was confronted by a Jehovah Witness that I knew something was wrong. We were using the same words bot with entirely different meaning.
This is what is happening to the church-goers today. They do not realize what 2 Cor 11:4 means> For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
This is why there are millions deceived by the Jesus's in "THE SHACK," "JESUS CALLING," "THE CHOSEN," etc. etc. etc.
If more would look into who is writing these books, their background, their world view, & their doctrine instead of falling for their religious vocabulary.
This has happened many times before in cases like the "WORD FAITH TEACHING," & "THE LAUGHING REVIVAL."
My advice is to please learn who the real Jesus is and you won't be fooled by a counterfeit. Investigate who the Jesus is these writers are talking about and if he is not exactly the same Jesus found in Scripture...avoid them. Rom.16:17.

I'm new to the Christian faith, and needed something small and portable to refer to in an instant. I bought a second one for my mom going through a tough time.

I finished both books in one day. The Light That Was Dark is great for anyone who doesn't understand the true dangers of the New Age, and Deceived on Purpose is an absolute must-read for every Christian! Whether or not you're into Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life, this book shows the dangers of the New Age infiltrating the church, especially the seeker-friendly mega-churches, while church leaders are actively denying the existence of deception. I can personally attest to the dangers of these new-agey Christian teachings, and they need to be taken seriously! The adversary is real. Deception is here. And it's already made its way into the church.

This is a great sampler pack! The teas are high quality, organically sourced, and the flavors are just right (not too strong or too weak). The Bible verse on the tag is a super sweet way to start the day, and these would also make a nice gift. I'll be ordering them again!

I wanted an easy booklet to refer to when I needed a quick prayer about something specific, and this does the job. I highlighted a couple favorites, and I keep it open on my bookshelf. Thank you!

These are great! Nice quality, pretty colors, good laminated material. I like the large print on the front, and the longer Bible verses on the back. These would make a nice little gift. Would recommend.

This booklet is what I was looking for. When I warn Christians about Rick Warren, some are surprised and ask why. Roger Oakland, the author, is well qualified to provide answers.

....to hear Bible teachers or women in a study mention The Message as a viable source! An informative booklet may be able to say what won't be received in a conversation....people do not want to be told something they rely on is written by an author and that his "words" do NOT have a heavenly source.

Bill Randles was a very solid teacher of the Word. Although it is sad (for us) that he has passed on from this world, I am so thankful for his published teachings which will continue to faithfully feed the flock! I very much endorse his books, as they are a great encouragement and so full of solid biblical insight and truth.

I have shared the booklets with many who are completely unaware of the information put forth in this booklet. We have to be bereans especially today so that we will not be deceived as the Lord warned us.

Well written . Biblical points

An excellent scriptural evaluation of this series. When we viewed the first series I was amazed how much liberty was taken with the subject matter, characters and events. As Jenkins even states that 95% is not from the Bible. It came as little surprise that there is such a heavy Mormon backing and influence. The booklet rightly identified how effective the series can be in Mormonism endeavor to be identified as an actual Christian denomination rather than the ungodly pseudo-Christian cult it always has been. The series is just another Satanic "christian" fad in the order of The Shack, Jesus Calling, and The Prayer of Jabez. I've been distributing them to our church leaders, some pastor friends in Iowa and So Carolina and plan to spread my remaining copies to other church pastors I know in our town..

excellent resource to share/teach others about this growing apostasy in these last days

I have waded through many books on the topic of Calvinism and Catholicism and this booklet puts it all in a succinct format. It was more understandable and with the anecdotal additions the read was great.

Mr. Smith sounds like a Godly man, whose desire is to warn other Christians of the pervasive deception in the churches now. His focus is the book A Course in Miracles, and the false teachings in that book. This booklet is also full of wonderful Scripture verse that remind us of the teachings of God, and Jesus, His Son, that we are to fear God. So many good Scriptures you can use to show other wayward Christians who are believing the lie that we don't need to fear God, that in truth, we MUST fear God.

This is a very good booklet, systematically arranged to provide you with easy access to verses that will be helpful and give you strength and encouragement. He has three subcategories, patience, waiting, and enduring. I found the verses to be very helpful.

I bought this tea solely because of the Bible verses. I expected it to taste just like any other organic tea from the grocery store. But that was not the case, to my surprise and delight it was FAR superior in taste and quality than any other organic tea that I have purchased. The flavor of all of their teas is much more potent than the flavors of other organic teas which I have tried. My favorites are the Spicy Red Chai and the Almond Vanilla ( I also love the Chai Green if I want a caffeine kick).
I personally have never been too fond of peppermint tea until trying this one. This one truly has a Deep Robust REAL peppermint flavor that I do like very much.
My daughter's favorites are the Peach (not as potent as the other flavors) and the Peppermint. The only one we did not really care for was the Cranberry Orange, though I can tell it is still quality, we are just not a big fan of that particular flavor. Thank you Lighthouse Trails for this wonderfully tasting and healthy tea. Like I said, the only reason I purchased this tea in the beginning was because you attach God's Word to each and every bag so don't ever stop doing that, it makes it extra special !

This pamphlet gives clear, concise insight into two of the most dominent deceptions, dare I say emphatically, heresies confronting true Christianity. I'm seeking the Lord's direction in distributing the 10 copies I received. I still have my original. LHT ministry can always be trusted in its research and publications. We Thank God for the on-going support they give to the Body of Christ.

I've always appreciated Warren's testimony. I bought this for a relative looking for scripturally based material. Am hoping she will be blessed by it. Very educational as well.

Given the level of deception in which we live, this is a great resource. I picked up a few copies when it came out to share with high school and college age gals in a Bible study group. I just picked up another copy for a relative who likes to read, and is looking for scripturally based material. It sheds some light on the deception generated via Christian colleges in recent years.

I really liked this book. I love true stories and this one is one you won't be able to put down. It made me grateful that I have all my kids in my arms and I'll hug them tighter after reading this book.

I loved this book. I empathized so much with the author when he was ostracized because of his warning ministry. I did wish there were a little more follow up on his wife and his relationship after he became a Christian, since their turmoil was a big part of the time when he was not a Christian. This book seriously has such a great message for young people today and I plan to give it to my older teenagers.

I like the booklet. He gets right to the point with the similarities between Calvinism and Catholicism and then shows why Biblical Christianity is the truth and how it differs so much from Calvinism and Catholicism. It is well worth buying.
