My review for these booklets goes like this. I would like to replace the five versions of Jesus Calling books, the Andy Stanley books, the Circle Maker and all of the other new age "ish"books with booklets like these in our church bookstore. And then I would change it to a library and have these booklets for free. Thank you Warren B Smith for answering the call that God has on your life to warn the church of deception that has slithered into the church.

Learn to Discern

I would like to share the warning of 2 passages of Scriptures to anyone who thinks Jesus Calling is helping their walk with God.

1.> 2 Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2.> Gal 1:6-8> I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

For 50 years I have studied the teachings of other religions, cults, the occult, evolutionists, atheists, etc.
One thing I want to make everyone aware of is> They all have their own definition of what words mean. Cults & the occult have their own "sacred" literature. They use Christian & Biblical terminology. I have a file with 75 different definitions of who Jesus is to them. None are Biblical.

The Jesus of Jesus Calling by Sarah Young is not the Jesus of Holy Scripture. I know what your response is..."I feel closer to God when I read it's pages." Well, let me ask you a common sense question. Don't you think that the people that are lost in the cults feel closer to God when they read the writings of their organization & leaders? These people are deceived, something Jesus warned us about in Mat.24:4.
My heart is saddened when I see my brothers & sisters, churches and Christian bookstores falling for this deception.

We really appreciate Warren’s research and Biblical approach to all his writings. His testimony adds to the validity of his writing because he was in the new age deception.
