Product Description

At 11:40 p.m. on April 14, 1912, the RMS Titanic—the biggest, grandest ship of its time—collided with an iceberg on its maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York City. Less than three hours later the seemingly unsinkable ship did the unthinkable—it sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean.

It has been well-documented how pride, false confidence, complacency, disregarded warnings, and general unpreparedness all played a part in the Titanic shipwreck. Those in charge had underestimated the physical danger in their midst. Sadly, today’s professing church shares many of these same characteristics as it similarly underestimates the spiritual danger in its midst.

The Titanic and Today’s Church is the story of two shipwrecks. One took place over a century ago; the other is in progress and is happening today. The similarities are astounding as they compel us to become more aware of our Spiritual Adversary’s schemes and devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), effectively “stand against” them (Ephesians 6:11), and “come out from among them” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

Gift for my wife

I bought this as a gift for my wife. Her mother and family had tickets to sail on the
Titanic, then at the last minute they were told that they couldn't be on this sailing for some reason. Anyway, I thought this book would be of interest to my wife. However the book has some information regarding the Titanic, but the focus is mainly on today's church. It is good, but not what I expected.

The Titanic and Today's Church: A Tale of Two Shipwrecks

Warren did a masterful job of giving insight into the comparison of what happened to the the Titanic and what is happening to the church. May those who read these heed the message.

Iceberg ahead! The church has been warned.

I think this is the 5th book I've read by Warren Smith, and it pulls together a bit from all his others. And actually, even aside from the Christian aspect of it, I really enjoyed the historical account of how the Titanic sank, because I didn't know most of the facts & the people involved in the tragedy. That alone was fascinating, but then using it as an analogy for today's church was very apt, and probably the best comparison one could use. It's upsetting to think that many of us have spotted the oncoming icebergs and are trying to sound the alarm, but most believers believe the church is unsinkable. Discernment ministries are more crucial than ever. Thanks for all you do, Warren. We really appreciate your work.

The Titanic and Today’s Church

Inspired treatment of the unscriptural and often occult underpinnings of false teachings that have invaded the church over many decades... and how to rightly divide the Word of Truth so that we can persevere to the end of this age, faithful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and warn our brothers and sister as well.

Every Christian should read this!

This is a very important book bringing to light many things going on that are moving the world towards one world religion. The way he weaves in information about the Titanic is an added bonus. I believe every Christian should read this book and have recommended it to many in my circle.

Excellent Book

Excellent book. Amazing how Warren Smith put that together! I have been blessed with his writings and interviews, etc. It's great to have someone who has some discernment these days! I am now reading his book about being faithful through it all...all Scripture.

A Faithful Watchman on the Wall.

Warren B. Smith's latest book is another must-read for believers who discern the dangerous times that the true Body of Christ is living in and experiencing. The attack against the Church is coming from several directions, and in his latest book, Warren B. Smith clearly identifies the many sources of those attacks. The comparisons he uses with the tragedy of the Titanic and the direction of much of today's Church are uncanny, and very accurate. I have read every one of Warren B. Smith's books, and this latest one is another gem. For those believers who are grieved over what is occurring in our world and especially in today's Church, I highly recommend this book. It will help equip you to fight the good fight of faith.. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Michael B.

A Good Read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Both for the Biblical content, but also the history information concerning the Titanic. The parallel Mr. Smith laid out between the ship and today's church was eye opening. Warnings are all around us if we are discerning them. I would highly recommend the book.

Very informative and interesting

Warren smith has done a fantastic job of showing the parallels between the “unsinkable” Ship of Dreams and the so called “church”. So many times in the natural world the Lord is revealing to us what is happening in the spiritual realm - and this book sets forth a great illustration of that. I pray we take heed.

Very Well Written

I really appreciate the heart for the Lord of Lighthouse Trails. My previous order, several books of 'The Titanic and Today's Church' was very well written; Especially a great picture to compare the Titanic to the Church today, with its many idols.. Really appreciate all the hard work of investigation and study to put out these fabulous books etc.

The Titanic and Today's Church

Warren Smith does his usual excellent job combining personal experience with his research on this topic to provide an up to date revelation of the true condition the professing church is now in. He couldn't have chosen a better comparison. I've been following the unfolding apostasy for forty years now and have also seen and experienced the "Titanic" condition of the church. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is surely coming to pass right before our eyes. Steven S.
