About the Author: William Laughing-Bear, an Air Force veteran, and a brain-injury survivor, fulfilled his life-long dream when he relocated from the Pacific Northwest to Alaska in the fall of 2002 to live a primitive lifestyle keeping first things first one day at a time and to take up dog mushing.

So enjoyed this book. Tried to read just a chapter a night, but have to admit that didn't always happen. Sometimes it was a couple chapters or maybe even 3 chapters. Loved how often the author gave glory to God.

Amazing Read!

Each chapter pulls you right into this true story. Whether you're 9 or 99, you'll find it hard to put this book down until you finish it. The fulfillment of this man's dreams leaves the reader with the encouragement that their dreams could also become a reality. I'd give it a 10 Star rating if it were possible!!

An Alaskan Adventure

Loved the book! It was a. Quick read, flavored with personal experiences, heartfelt observations, and a good mixture of spiritual insights and encouragement. I recommend it to anyone with a thirst for adventure in God’s beautiful creation.
