AUTHOR BIO: Warren B. Smith (B.A. University of Pennsylvania; M.S.W. Tulane University) is a former social worker who directed several homeless programs in Northern California and served as a hospice social worker in New Orleans and on the California coast. Because of his past involvement in the New Age movement, he has written extensively on the subject of spiritual deception. He speaks often at conferences in the U.S. and abroad.

Warren has given us a succinct expose` of the 'Jesus Calling' heresy!

This is the expanded second edition of Warren's book, 'Another Jesus Calling', and a must read for everyone that calls themselves a bible believing Christian. Warren wrote the original 'Another Jesus Calling' in 2013 and it evidently got the attention of the folks at Thomas Nelson Publishers. Thomas Nelson then "changed, altered, and deleted a number of key problematic areas in 'Jesus Calling' " that Warren had exposed in his 2013 edition. Sarah Young's book 'Jesus Calling' is a cash cow for Thomas Nelson Publishers. Millions of these books have been sold worldwide! And many Christians have been seduced into reading this doctrine of devils. That alone should raise a red flag to anyone calling themselves a bible believing Christian! I very much appreciate how Warren uses the word of God, KJV, to expose this heresy. In every instance he uses the scripture to refute the errors of 'Jesus Calling'. I am using this book to teach young converts the dangers of the New Age movement and books like 'Jesus Calling'.
If you know people that have gotten seduced into reading this book give them a copy of Warren's book or at the very least warn them!

Warren Smith has a gift for writing--logical and captivating. His personal experience in new age thinking and religion has really helped to give him a focused eye when narrowing in on popular yet spiritually deceptive book like Jesus Calling. This is an excellent read, and one that I am currently planning to revisit after reading his latest book The Titanic and Today's Church: A Tale of Two Shipwrecks. I recommend this author any day.

Also, note that Warren in real life is a down to earth humbled man. Warren is the real deal, and he is being used by God to spread his testimony of coming out of the new age to which, many more now today are joining what he came out of into this new age spiritualism self-focused inner-being religion. I've had the opportunity to give a few of his books and bibles to people that are/were headed down the deceptive path of new age oracles that are really selfishness mixed with demonic magic and yoga.

This is a good supplement to understand why Jesus Calling is more than what you think it is...

excellent book on Sarah Young's writings

I forgot I already had a copy! But I'll give this one away or donate to my church library. I recall that some of her devotionals did not "sit right" with me; now, I know why. Her writings are subtle, but dangerous and deceiving since there is some truth, but not all truth.

Solid Biblical refutation of the "New Age " nonsense passing itself off as the latest thing God is doing. In our area a number of Churches have embraced this and other similar material with no discernment to the un-biblical nature of this drivel. Thank God for Warren B. The Jesus of Sarah Young

This book (from a former new ager) is a thorough expose of the teaching of Sarah Young and the publisher's attempts to 'correct' those obvious unbiblical views to make it more acceptable to the Christian community. This is deception at its greatest effort. The angel of darkness clothe in a garment of light. May God deliver the body of Christ from such falsehood and deception. It is the job of the righteous to expose the teaching of darkness and Warren Smith has done an excellent job. Keep it up, bro!!

Another Jesus Calling

This book does a remarkable job of contrasting Scripture in context, with dictation from counterfeit "presences" that falsely pose as the Lord Jesus Christ.
