Given that at least some are giving heed to Christ’s warning that we shouldn’t tamper with His words, it seems that another tack has been taken by His enemies . . . How about simply altering the meaning of the words themselves ?

Any modern Christian might be forgiven for walking into a modern church and concluding that they are on-point; scratch the surface and you’ll find that while the language seems to preach the Biblical message, they have completely redefined what many of those terms mean. It’s a minefield when it comes to finding your way through modern church language; this book is a good one to keep in your back-pocket for those occasions.
