Manning Johnson spent ten years as a high-ranking member of the Communist Party of the USA, believing that the Party could help the conditions of black people in America at that time.

When finally realizing that the Communist Party was not helping but actually harming black people and using them for its own purposes, Johnson left the Party and spent the rest of his life warning about communism.

This special 2021 edition includes photos, illustrations, and two bonus sections about current affairs in the 21st Century: Critical Race Theory and the Church and S Is for Social Justice: The Language of Today’s Cultural “Revolution.”

Who saved a wretch like me!

Thank you, Lighthouse Trails for unearthing the old writings of Manning Johnson, his descension into communism and defection out of it. All ideologies outside the Christian Biblical faith brings only with-it human misery in all its forms, poverty of substance and spirit, bondage, exploitation, degradation, hopelessness and a death leading to hell.
An enlightening account from a brave gentleman and a stern warning for those who choose to heed it in our present day, for we are descending into escalating wars, rumors of wars, conflict, social discord through social activism, rebellion, anarchy, hatred, numerous despotic rulers and lovers of self-etc.

We are all born of ONE BLOOD with just different measures of melanin pigmentation in our skin, which no way diminishes our value as human beings.
Likewise, we are all born with a God-given conscience to choose good from evil and right from wrong/

But for the children of God, we are blessed with the greatest treasure of all, the MIND OF CHRIST JESUS, and may we courageously use it, in this anti-Christian world,

and at the Holy Spirit's leading, to reach the lost of all persuasion, with the Gospel message of salvation, a free gift, given by the GOD OF LOVE. Helen Australia

A must read....

The book is very well written by Manning Johnson. He rose to the ranks in the Communist party here in the United States but soon saw the evil deception and corruption and got out! Satan is behind Communism and has used it to keep the black community in bondage and has duped the general population. I love that he referenced Booker T. Washington a few times! Mr. Washington created the model for success for the black community at the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama! This book by Manning Johnson should be required reading in all the colleges and universities in the US and especially in the black colleges! I am saddened that this most likely will never happen.

I just started reading it,but already am surprised about the black church pastors embracing communism and spueing forth filth. They are to be preaching the Gospel to save people and leed them to JESUS.
