BOOKLET - The Cross and the Marijuana Leaf - SECONDS

BKT-LN-MRJ-dm

By Linda Nathan

For the first time in U.S. history, Christians in America are facing the challenge of a majority approval of marijuana. By September 2017, there was some form of marijuana legalization in 29 states and the District of Columbia.

This massive change has occurred in less than fifty years, and it is a major sign of the seismic shift occurring in our culture—a shift that should concern Christians deeply.

Cynthia Wright

This was an excellant overview of a problem, which seems to have become more prolific in Christian circles. The author discusses the legal ramification of marijuana use. She mentions the presidents and orgsnizations that were responsible for ushering in the new cultural norm of "so-called" acceptable marijuana use.
But like all else, money talks! It is unfortunately, satan's underground, who still pay off lesgislation, and call the shots, because corruption feeds off of financial gain! This is no different.
In light of leading a Christian life, and following Jesus Christ, because He came to set the captives free ( See Isaiah 61:1-3; Luke 4:14-19), I continue to seek His freedom from all things that would hinder my relationship with Him.
