Quality journal with much needed research articles

I've been reading the pamphlets published by Lighthouse Trails and also bought some to give away. Those pamphlets are filled with much needed messages to the church backed by reliable research and rooted in solid biblical principles. After receiving two recent issues of the journal, I'm pleased to say that the journal dose not disappoint either, providing careful examination of current issues related to Christian faith and Christian living. Thank you!

Timely and current

The Lighthouse Trails Research Journal quarterly is a wealth of information on current events, trends in churches, and the struggles and triumphs of persecuted Christians. All through the lens of a godly and biblical worldview.

LT's stated goal is to "...lift up the name of Jesus Christ, turn to the Word of God, edify the body of Christ, and share the Gospel with those who have not yet come into the Kingdom of God through salvation by faith in Jesus Christ...".

Those are my goals as well, and I'm grateful to have found a timely and effective tool in LT Research Journal to help.

Timely Messages

I find these newsletters to be extremely interesting and pertinent to the times in which we live. Every issue is full of well thought out articles recognizing the deceptions that are taking both the world and the church by storm. I appreciate your faithfulness to the Word of God while many are looking for spiritual fulfillment within themselves. Please keep them coming.

New Age/New Spirituality's Alternative to Armageddon - the Selection Process

I've been reading your web articles, especially on false preachers and contemplative prayer. My pastors have used Beth Moore videos for years and attended a performance in Green Bay a couple years ago and surely will when she comes back in August. I've tried to inform them about her dangers, but they don't believe she's "preaching" about it, just keeping it private! I'll keep praying and trying.

Helpful in pointing out errors and pointing me back to Scripture to "test" what is true! There is so much deception and confusion in the Church today a reliable source is a blessing when looking for answers that are biblical. Thanks!

I was familiar with Lighthouse Trails and its work. I had a subscription several years ago. I have read several of the books on your list, Ray Yungen most especially and several others. I agree with you on the issue of the new spirituality creeping into the church. I had gotten away from reading your newsletters, etc., because I felt safe in my church. However I came running back. Being on our current pastor search committee and seeing many of the New Age sympathisers being mentioned and studied by some of the candidates, I became aware that - No I am not safe from this influence. So here I am.
I am glad to be back. Thank you for your research and reporting and providing of information to help up follow God's ways.

The the most Spiritually valuable subscription

I'm 2 months shy of having this subscription for a year and am planning on renewing it when the time comes for renewal. I feel so thankful for LHT. It's my 'go to' place to find information that I can count on for being Scripturally based for information on the 'new' (and in most cases, deceptive) things hitting the church. IMHO, they are worthy for keeping for reference and am planning on putting them in binders. Thank you, LHT, for being Watchmen. Christians are blessed by your work.

Lighthouse Trails Journal

I look forward to reading the Journal. It keeps me up to date on what's happening with the churches, especially since I no longer have a church and am out of 'the loop' on the happenings. Through Lighthouse Journal, I have learned the bywords, names of persons to look out for, learned the new spirituality/convergent/new age teachings/teachers. Already, I have avoided deceptive churches and Bible studies by scouting their online websites thoroughly(for they are not up front about their false teachings)..it saves the emotional distress of having to leave once one has become involved.

With the rise of mysticism, and other like things, disguising themselves as the Truth, we need solid material that sheds the light of Truth over the dark landscape that is called the "Church." Lighthouse Trails Research Journal

This is a wonderful publication! I'm currently reading the second issue of my subscription and am so impressed with how knowledgeable the editors are and how well the articles are written. I've subscribed to many Christian publications over the years and this is by far the best. So many of the current church "fads" are exposed for what they are, and it's obvious that the editors have truly researched them. I'm grateful that something so thorough and clear is available to us.

The cost of the print edition is very low for the quality of the content of its articles. It's a great deal!

I love this journal. Most of the time my inbox is so packed full from messages and blogs from other Christian sites that I have to take a break from my PC just to save my eyes and neck! This journal gives me time to sit down and read from a paper journal that has actual pages!
