It is hard to pick one booklet that I bought, but this one addresses a phenomenon that my husband's pastor is into. Anyway, I appreciate you giving the facts without being emotional and understanding what is involved with authors that we have been hearing about in our little town (of about 10,000) which is causing people to leave the church.

Every Christian ought to read this. I’m thinking about ordering 10 more to give to my Bible study ladies. We need to be on the alert.

Will done, no personal attacks. Various issues are brought up and dealt with soberly. The speaker is reasonable and respectful. Points of blatant disagreement and tension are handled professionally. These are worth the time to listen.

Most informative. Very useful for Christians who are interested in knowing about discernment matters, however due to the level of content, caution is required to how new Christians or Christians who are nervous about "criticising" the church. are informed. For this group, a work up may be worth considering.

This is a wonderfully researched study that tells of the deception that is more and more growing through contemplative Spirituality because of the charismatic women teachers who beguile women with Bible-sounding theories. The popularity of these two teachers is so sad - thousands of women attend their conferences and do not have the knowledge to understand what they are being fed. The author is obviously a believer in “prove all things” (1Thes5) and I thank Hod for him.

Anything Ray writes is exemplary and highly informative! He is after all the man who revealed the truth on Foster in A Time of Departing.

I was familiar with Lighthouse Trails and its work. I had a subscription several years ago. I have read several of the books on your list, Ray Yungen most especially and several others. I agree with you on the issue of the new spirituality creeping into the church. I had gotten away from reading your newsletters, etc., because I felt safe in my church. However I came running back. Being on our current pastor search committee and seeing many of the New Age sympathisers being mentioned and studied by some of the candidates, I became aware that - No I am not safe from this influence. So here I am.

I was blessed by reading this booklet. I find myself unexpectedly being exposed to Reform Theology (with which I don't agree) and appreciated the refutation of it in David's message.

The Message. Wow. Scary and tainted! But many people who want a modern translation don't know that. I just can't understand why some pastors today are using it. Why can't they discern the veiled phrases and way off words? They need to find out who Eugene Peterson is before they even think about trusting this truly mixed up message that is probably more than a bridge to the occult.. Roger Oakland's book, Faith Undone, is an explanation of just who Peterson is, so maybe start there. I like this booklet better than the older one because there is no citation between the beginning chapter and the last part, so people are more likely to read the whole message instead of stopping half way through, although that one contains much important material.. I was deeply saddened to find David Jeremiah using it years ago. Some of us wrote to him about it but were not answered, and I think he is still using it.. The new one, I don't think mentions the homosexual issue.

Calvin was raised Catholic and extremely followed Catholic Priest Augustine's writings not long before before he wrote his "Institutes." When he wrote Institutes, he also believed in infant baptism and trusted his own baptism for his salvation. A lawyer, he quickly rose to power and was a cruel punisher of those who did not agree with him, stating they deserved burning. He was not Christ-like. He came into fame about the time people heard Luther's message of salvation by faith, when there was religious upheaval, and if the devil knows anything, he knows how to time his intrusion into sound doctrine.. Although Calvin did have a few correct points, his doctrine is mostly not scriptural, and somehow people now seem to feel they have to choose between Calvinism and Armenienism when they do not. That's like having to choose between eating only oranges or only lettuce. No choice necessary! Dave Hunt is an author of sound doctrine. Read this excellent, very important book for clarification on this issue. Deb, please correct any errors I may have made in composing this review.

A grueling account of this pastor's persecution for his faith and imprisonment in Russia. The wanton cruelty and health-destroying hardships make it a difficult read at times, and the photos of his face speak of great suffering. Still, he was unwavering in his commitment to tell others the gospel message. Such a difficult life. I don't know how he maintained. He prayed a lot, and God sustained him.

This is a phenomenal read! I passed it on to my oldest son and his wife to aid in the raising of their daughter and helping her to stay close to the Lord. Thank you so much.

Great, trustworthy ministry

I have many friends who have bought Jesus Calling and have unwittingly been caught up in it’s deception. This booklet is an excellent tool to help educate people about the danger of that book.
Warren Smith lays out an excellent case as to why Jesus Calling is not something that
Christians should be reading. In a day where most Christians lack discernment, I’m so thankful for Warren and his godly wisdom that can be shared with others to hopefully open their eyes to the enemy’s tactics.

I never meant to let my subscription expire, I find the research they do to be of great value to myself and to the Body of Christ and as long as they publish it I want to be on the receiving end of it. I feel that they prayerfully seek the Lord in the research they do, do they sometimes make a mistake in some things, maybe so, but who of us are perfect? I ask the Lord to bless them and the work they do, they are indeed a lighthouse in a very dark world.

This booklet is perfect to help christians discern the dangers of Yoga. While so many churches rationalize it away, Yoga is spiritually dangerous and an affront to our Lord. What agreement does the temple of God have with idols?

These teas took me by surprise! I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered, and I couldn't have been happier. The Peach White, Red Chai, and Vanilla Almond Rooibos were pleasant through and through. And the peppermint tea smelled so good, I joked I would use them as sachets throughout my house. None of the teas had a bitter aftertaste. (In fact, I didn't realize the teas I used before had a bitter aftertaste until I drank these. The difference was noticeable.) I shared my sampler box with my mom and intend to become a regular customer. Thank you! This was such a wonderful discovery.

I ordered three copies and keep one in the back of my Bible in case the subject comes up so I can present some accurate information on the subject.

The author has made the dangers of Yoga, and the true meaning of it, very clear. I plan to pass this on to Christians I know who love Yoga!

This booklet is one that really needs to be spread far and wide. In our area, "Jesus Calling" is very popular, and well-meaning Christians have no clue as to the demonic origins of it. People who love the truth will receive this booklet in sincerity, and hopefully pass copies on to others who are literally hooked on these channeled messages! Very dangerous stuff. Satan comes as an "angel of light" and we must never forget that!

This book lays out the facts about this dangerous drug which Christians need to take note of. In debates with "Christians" who use and defend this drug it does take some solid facts to warm them of the dangers present. The booklet is scientific, and good. I think it could be better if some pertinent Scriptures were quoted too.

When these coloring books first came out, and were even given to women on Mother's Day in a certain church, I was horrified. The spirit behind them is insidious, but so few Christians have discernment these days, and they seem to fall "hook, line and sinker" for everything new that slithers into Christendom! This booklet is bottom-line informative, and leaves no doubt in the reader's mind of where it came from and where it is leading. A real must have booklet to pass on to others.

I am so thankful you published this book! It is easy to understand, well-laid out, and presented in a clear and logical manner. There is so much confusion about Calvin and what he truly believed, taught and lived that this settled the issue in my mind. I am going to share it with other Christians who have questions about Calvinism, and are "fuzzy" concerning Calvinist doctrines. It was a great help to me, and I am very thankful for this work. It is excellent!

This is a most informative booklet that makes it clear that Freemasonry is not compatible with the Holy Bible and true Christianity. It is well written, giving all the facts that the person searching for answers can easily assimilate and understand. It leads the reader to an understanding that should settle the issue about Freemasonry taken from Freemasonry's own literature. Great booklet!

This is just as riveting as the author's book,"Muddy Waters". I love her writing--it is thorough, timely, factual and always extremely interesting, especially in light of the rise of Native Spirituality infiltrating the church, schools and ecumenical movements.
