I also was in the convent for nine years, one year away from final vows. One day in chapel I told the statue of Mary that I wasn't going to pray the rosary or to her anymore. I then had the courage to leave. I know exactly where Ann Marie is coming from! Her reaction when leaving was different then mine, but everyone's is different. Her message is " right on" with the control in the Catholic church. I praise the Lord that I am now a saved Christian. Will pass a message on.

Man may change definitions to suit his purposes but God never changes. And His Glory, the essence of who He is, is shown in part by this video. I keep passing it along to my grandparent and parent friends; the return back to me is slow, so hopefully it is accomplishing the good purposes of YHWH. Maranatha!

This Organic White Peach Tea is served every day in our home. Fall, winter and into spring we enjoy the soothing warmth of this tea served with sugar and lemon, then when the weather warms up I make gallon jars full of sun tea served sweet for ourselves and the many children and grandchildren who congregate in our home! It truly is our favourite tea!

It seems more and more people are being led astray by yoga's deceitful tactics as the medical community is being used to bring in this idolatrous practice disguised as a health method. Too much new age and occult practices are reviving, as well. I wish there were more of these nice booklet tracts to offer people who do not now the dangers of yoga. Caryl Matresiana had one out that i liked very much. would love to see that in print again. i love Lighthouse Trails' ministries. So thankful for them.

This is the expanded second edition of Warren's book, 'Another Jesus Calling', and a must read for everyone that calls themselves a bible believing Christian. Warren wrote the original 'Another Jesus Calling' in 2013 and it evidently got the attention of the folks at Thomas Nelson Publishers. Thomas Nelson then "changed, altered, and deleted a number of key problematic areas in 'Jesus Calling' " that Warren had exposed in his 2013 edition. Sarah Young's book 'Jesus Calling' is a cash cow for Thomas Nelson Publishers. Millions of these books have been sold worldwide! And many Christians have been seduced into reading this doctrine of devils. That alone should raise a red flag to anyone calling themselves a bible believing Christian! I very much appreciate how Warren uses the word of God, KJV, to expose this heresy. In every instance he uses the scripture to refute the errors of 'Jesus Calling'. I am using this book to teach young converts the dangers of the New Age movement and books like 'Jesus Calling'.
If you know people that have gotten seduced into reading this book give them a copy of Warren's book or at the very least warn them!

The book is very well written by Manning Johnson. He rose to the ranks in the Communist party here in the United States but soon saw the evil deception and corruption and got out! Satan is behind Communism and has used it to keep the black community in bondage and has duped the general population. I love that he referenced Booker T. Washington a few times! Mr. Washington created the model for success for the black community at the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama! This book by Manning Johnson should be required reading in all the colleges and universities in the US and especially in the black colleges! I am saddened that this most likely will never happen.

I didn't know what to expect when I first picked up the book to read and then I could not put it down! This is the real life testimony of a man who lived in the 1800's that was brought up in Islam and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior! This book is so well written so much better than reading a novel! And as I said I could not put it down!
I think the thing that made the most impact with me was his use of the Word of God! I had read mostly all of the scriptures that he quoted in the book but never had the revelation of how the Word of God applies when you are in a life and death situation like he experienced many times! We have no idea in this country what real persecution is but I believe we soon will! The Scriptures are going to take on a whole fresh meaning as the perilous times come.
I highly recommend this book!

Caryl did an excellent presentation on Yoga! I wish she were still with us! I believe it is the best teaching on Yoga available! If you have ever dabbled in Yoga or are considering practicing Yoga, STOP right now and repent! Even if you have practiced so called Christian Yoga. As the video plainly teaches there is no such thing as Christian Yoga and if your church is offering it, RUN from that church! Yoga is a one way ticket to hell!

My only criticism is the photo of the women on the cover. Call me a 'prude' but I found the photo to be lustful and inappropriate! I think a better choice could have been made. That being said my rating is still 5 stars!

I think this is the 5th book I've read by Warren Smith, and it pulls together a bit from all his others. And actually, even aside from the Christian aspect of it, I really enjoyed the historical account of how the Titanic sank, because I didn't know most of the facts & the people involved in the tragedy. That alone was fascinating, but then using it as an analogy for today's church was very apt, and probably the best comparison one could use. It's upsetting to think that many of us have spotted the oncoming icebergs and are trying to sound the alarm, but most believers believe the church is unsinkable. Discernment ministries are more crucial than ever. Thanks for all you do, Warren. We really appreciate your work.

I heard that Rick Warren is retiring in September, but his books will continue to be peddled for years to come. My mom just recently bought The Purpose Driven Life, so I wanted to figure out how to talk to her about it. I had already read Warren Smith's "Deceived on Purpose," but wanted to see what this newer book said, as well. My mom doesn't see past the "Christian" label pasted on all of Rick Warren's stuff, so she tends to believe whatever he & other false teachers put out there. It's really helpful being 'armed' with Warren Smith's books that use scripture to back up WHY the purpose-driven movement is not only heretical but dangerous. It's leading people astray! Rick Warren is not a discerning man, and he has allowed New Age leaders to infiltrate the church. He has done more damage that he realizes, and refuses to admit he's guilty. Very frustrating. It's difficult reading these books because I get really upset, but it's good to be informed! Thanks Warren for your work.

I really appreciate Lighthouse Trails on line and print journal. They keep me up to date on what Christians need to be aware of in these days of deception. The articles are very concise and informative. Information you just can’t find their research is superb. Thank you for your ministry and May God bless you for it.

I've been reading the pamphlets published by Lighthouse Trails and also bought some to give away. Those pamphlets are filled with much needed messages to the church backed by reliable research and rooted in solid biblical principles. After receiving two recent issues of the journal, I'm pleased to say that the journal dose not disappoint either, providing careful examination of current issues related to Christian faith and Christian living. Thank you!

I very much enjoy my time with this journal. It really is sprinkled with GOD's WORD on every page. Most of that is in warning, and what parent or guardian does not teach and warn their loved ones of danger. That is what the lighthouse on the shore of the great waters does, it warns travelers of danger. I have to limit myself to viewing or reading one little part at a time, and then think about how it uses GOD's WORD, and what it points out to us in today's world for my life. I am content and time slips by when I read and ponder GOD's WORD, still having family to care for I have to limit my time in reading that I may take care of family business and care. Reading this paper is a break in busy days, and most enjoyable to learn the application of GOD's WORD in my life. Not all is applicable, as news articles from the secular world are listed as examples of what is wrong in our fallen world, but again, it is a great read. TB

Deception is very real, and we have to know what to look for. Christians must prepare themselves, but for some reason the church seems to be an ostrich with its head in the sand. This book is excellent for presenting New Age teachings side-by-side with what the Bible says, and frankly it's terrifying. I even cried at some of the New Age sayings, because they're so heretical and I can't believe I used to espouse those same teachings. It's heartbreaking how the New Age speaks about Christ & the Bible. So disrespectful. People need to read this!

Thank you for this very informative booklet. I have passed out 3 of them so far to my Christian friends who told me they liked the Chosen. One has already come back thanking me for the information. He had no idea about the Morman influence.

I always carry these with me and leave them in libraries or cafes or even public restrooms. You never know when they'll catch someone's attention.

I have several of Warren's booklets, and so far this is my favorite. I also got one for my mom, to help her through a tough time. It is SO HANDY having Scriptural references all in one place when I'm in the middle of an anxious moment or feeling doubt. I recommend this as really convenient tool to keep on hand, to soothe your worried heart or mind in a pinch.

This was the first edition I've read of the LT journal. It was very pleasant sitting down in the afternoon with a cup of tea and reading through the whole thing. I appreciate hearing others' thoughts about the things on my heart, as well as hearing of new issues popping up around the world that I wasn't aware of. Thanks for putting this out there. I especially appreciate the timely notes about recent legislation and news bits, which I don't hear about otherwise because I intentionally ignore the news.

This is a cutesy addition to any gift, or the perfect sampler for anyone wanting to try all the flavors. I put together a small goodie bag for my mom, including this tea, a Lighthouse trails booklet, and some devotional cards. She appreciated it.

I would like to share the warning of 2 passages of Scriptures to anyone who thinks Jesus Calling is helping their walk with God.

1.> 2 Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2.> Gal 1:6-8> I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

For 50 years I have studied the teachings of other religions, cults, the occult, evolutionists, atheists, etc.
One thing I want to make everyone aware of is> They all have their own definition of what words mean. Cults & the occult have their own "sacred" literature. They use Christian & Biblical terminology. I have a file with 75 different definitions of who Jesus is to them. None are Biblical.

The Jesus of Jesus Calling by Sarah Young is not the Jesus of Holy Scripture. I know what your response is..."I feel closer to God when I read it's pages." Well, let me ask you a common sense question. Don't you think that the people that are lost in the cults feel closer to God when they read the writings of their organization & leaders? These people are deceived, something Jesus warned us about in Mat.24:4.
My heart is saddened when I see my brothers & sisters, churches and Christian bookstores falling for this deception.

Please search out these & other booklets out by Warren B. Smith and the information other apologic ministries have that can give you Biblical information why this and other books and fads are not Christian literature and lead you to ANOTHER JESUS, ANOTHER GOSPEL ANOTHER SPIRIT AND ANOTHER GOD!

This booklet will be so helpful to help other to see that the chosen is not biblical.

Am very pleased with this book and the parallels between theses two tragedies and the prophetic message of the Bible. I love Warren Smith’s writing.

Vanilla and almond flavors always have appealed to me so I bought this tea. It is a welcome change from the regular plain green or black tea and I use it whenever I am in the mood. I would recommend it for those who enjoy a subtle and unique flavor.
